Section 31
Details of income and expenses incurred in election campaigning should be submitted
(1) The political party or candidate shall submit the details of the income and expenses incurred in election campaigning to the office designated by the commission in accordance with the prevailing federal law.
(2) The political party or candidate shall make public the statement of income and expenditure as per sub-section (1) as prescribed by the Commission for the information of all concerned.
(3) The Commission may impose fines on political parties or candidates who do not provide details as per sub-section (1) in accordance with the prevailing federal law regarding the Election Commission.
(4) The commission may impose a fine of up to fifteen thousand rupees on the political party or candidate who does not publish the details as per sub-section (2) and order them to publish such details within a reasonable time.
(5) The commission may impose a fine of fifteen thousand rupees on a political party or candidate who does not disclose such details within the time specified in sub-section (4).
